Room size too smallShower wand dangerously slipped off its holder and clocked me in the face twiceStaff/staff mgmt couldn't fix dangerous shower wand making showers inadequate. the shower was a bit messy with the way it is set up and I was not aware the restaurant/bar was not open, upon booking the room. The occasional sound of the train was a bit annoying - but not nearly enough to keep us away. Not a fan of the toilet seats that slip to either side while you're sitting on them. There was no bathroom stall and whenwe take shower the water wet the rest of the bathroom. The room size isa bit small as well the bathroom. The luggage elavator was out of order during our stay. Room and bathroom especially was very small but ok for 1 or 2 nights. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Very modern and clean, location is better than perfect (just a 2 min walk to the pier, but at the same time close to the main restaurant/bar area). Re: the Indigo Hotel, I liked the charming, modern-Euro-chic architecture, the friendly, professional front desk staff and the proximity to the beach, freeway and fabulous shopping on State Street. Hotel indigo, a boutique hotel on the santa barbara beachfront, recently sold for more than 19 million. The location of the hotel is very good, in the main street near the seaand the main restaurants. We had a small furnished patio on the ground floor the room was very small but had all the facilities you need. The art work all around the hotel was great and there are 2 seating areas on the 1st floor that are quirkily furnished.
